Free Webinar --
Reaching Women, The Most Powerful & Elusive Consumers
Women have been described as the most powerful and elusive of
consumers. During our free webinar, Marketing Estate Planning
Services to Women, you'll learn why they are so powerful, what makes
them so elusive, and how they can help build your estate planning (and
elder law) practice. Click the link below to view in Windows Media
Player or download for viewing later. Please note, this is a very large
file, so please be patient.

Year-Round Campaign to Reach Women
Just in case you weren't aware of the necessity
of marketing to women, consider the following facts from the July 11
issue of Fortune magazine:
- Women will control 60% of all wealth in America by 2010.
- 10.1 million businesses are owned by women (50% or more),
employing more than 13 million people, and generating $1.9 trillion
in sales as of 2008.
- More than two-thirds (67%) of women business owners choose
financial products and services based on their relationship and
experience with a financial consultant.
- Because women live longer than men, they will end up in charge
of much of the $41 trillion expected to pass from generation to
generation over the next fifty years.
Do we have your attention?
We have developed a turn-key marketing campaign to help you reach out
to women. The basic
package bundles together the workshop presentation "Women, Money & The
Law," with the ready-to-print
companion brochure, and a detailed
promotions guide. Additionally, we've packaged a turn-key promotional
program, incorporating direct mail and
Internet marketing to ensure your
success.

Here is an excerpt from the
Promotions Guide:
Goal: To reach the family’s primary purchasing decision maker
with a compelling message about estate planning to protect herself and
her loved ones.
The Event: Plan a special for women only event,
focusing on women’s roles as mothers and daughters. The event should be
fun and upscale. A Mother-Daughter Tea,
offered at mid-morning is a perfect budget-friendly solution.
The Possible Players:
- Your Own Client Base is a great place to start. Invite
all of the women in your client base as an appreciation event. Encourage them to bring their own mothers, daughters,
grandmothers, siblings, nieces, etc. This is a terrific way to
expand your influence and generate client referrals. Plus, you will
certainly find that many of your own clients have additional needs
to be addressed as their own circumstances change.
- Banks Are a Natural for Joint Marketing This Type of Event.
A larger bank could sponsor several such events at various locations
within their market area. Mailing to their account-holders, posters
on-site, flyers inserted with deposit slips at the teller window or
with bank statements by mail are all excellent ways to promote the
event. Additionally, in order to generate new business, local
newspaper and radio advertising would be effective. Banks also may
want to invite local businesses in a joint marketing effort to honor
mothers, to include florists, restaurants, caterers, salons, spas
and health clubs.
- Financial & Insurance Advisors could sponsor this event
for their own client base with a simple post card mailing, or expand
it to include a purchased list of women business owners. The Tea
could be hosted as a client appreciation event, and all current
clients encouraged to bring their mothers and/or daughters to
generate new referrals.
- Health Clubs, Spas and/or Salons could host and
co-sponsor this event for their clients and members. It would even
be permissible to charge a small fee for admission, especially if
various “goodies” are included such as beauty samples, complimentary
chair massage, paraffin treatment, or gift certificates, etc.
These are just a few of the marketing opportunities. Using these
ideas as a springboard, you may be able to come up with many more. What
about a church group? Or a women’s association? Or even an upscale
homeowners association? The country club? Women golfers?
